For sale is a new high torque Ford SBF BBF FE Hitachi style starter. Works with Ford engines using an automatic/manual transmission based on certain year and engine sizes. Make sure you check the fitment to your engine. The compact design allows for better header, ground and oil pan clearance. This starter will not work with 1979-newer manual transmission/1963-older FE engines!!. Note: 2 bolt design replaces traditional 3 bolt!!! 

This starter is all new, not rebuilt. 3 horsepower for superior performance. These gear reduction ratio is 4.40:1 these starters produce between 30-50% more cranking power than stock starters it is a standard rotation starter. Has an adjustable mounting block.

The max recommended compression ratio is 12:1 engines without fail.

With some 351C there may be a need to modify the starter nose/housing or fabricate a shim due to the depth of the housing this is rare.
