fits Ford Small Block 289, 302 and 351W V8 Engines

For small block Ford performance timing sets with a press fit thrust bearing or bronze washer, the original equipment cam thrust plate and screws MUST be replaced with this kit. The kit includes a new 1/4" thick cam thrust plate with two (2) flat head, countersunk allen-drive screws and will provide proper clearance to prevent the timing set from grinding against the block due to "cam walk."
